ok - sounds like there is a good plan in place. You can always request that your levels get tested before then if you feel something is amiss.
I had my last test on Aug 29. and the results were good. I have switched docs in the meantime and this one told me to keep a log of my cycles and let her know of any problems, but isn't going to order anymore tests until I get pg or March 2010 (which will be 6 mo. since my good thyroid test), whichever comes 1st. They will then do test on both me and my DH.
Thanks for the response.
Women typically menstruate 10-14 days after ovulation so 14 days is not a hard and fast rule.
Sometimes it can take awhile to correctly regulate all your hormones when on a hormone-regulating medication like the one that you are on and that can definitely throw things off. Is your doctor monitoring your levels periodically?
By the way, how are you doing today? I had read your post about cramping. Everything still looking good. Sounds like you are doing well, good luck and prayers to you for a healthy happy baby!
It was a sensitive one. I have just felt so weird this month. I had a doc appt. on Wed and she told me to start tracking my cycles carefully. I think the flow is too heavy for implantation, it is thick and dark red. I think I would be worried if I had gotten a positive for fear of loosing it. My cycles have been a little wierd since starting Thyroid meds, they were fairly normal before that so I figured having my Thyroid levels where they should be would only make things better, not worse. I cried all last night because I am getting so worried about never conceiving another child. My DH want a child so badly too and I'm not sure if we can pay so much to have fertility help and it not work. Just a bad day I guess, sorry to vent.
Thanks
It is always possible your cycle is off a bit this month. I have had the odd one like that. Usually with a chemical pregnancy it is more that your period is late, not early, but anything is possible there as well. I personally think that whenever anything is off it's best to see your Dr. Sometimes early or breakthrough bleeding can be a result of low progesterone or other hormonal imblanaces and they can help you "regulate" things again. It's also possible of course that it is due to implantation and maybe you just took your test too early. Was it a sensitive one?
