Crestor - Statin Drugs

Hello,

I'm 38, currently being tested cd21 & cd3 tests to determine if i have any issues for ttc. Have never ttc'd before but i guess my ob was being preventative (which is good cause i asked my gp for this test 6 months ago at the disaster pap appt - hence referral to gyno).
Anyway, my cd21 came back as progesterone 39, prolactin (seems like i may be ovulating) and am doing cd3 test on monday.  I have 26 days cycles, seems to me though that my luteal phase is maybe 11 days - I'll pay more attention if we're unsuccessful I guess.   We'll start ttc Nov 14th ish if things are okay from that test.
My Q.

I'm on Coversyl Plus (high bp) we're changing to methyl dopa?? I'm picking up a Rx for this on Nov 7th.
I'm on Crestor, I have to stop this drug but am wondering when's the best time - now? or can I take it up to Nov 10th ish, can't find any info on how fast it leaves my system.

hope she lets me ask more than 1 q.... i don't have a whole lot of faith in my new doctor. the disaster pap appt was almost the final nail in the coffin.  she took over my prior dr's practice (had her from age 13 to 37) was trying to give benefit of the doubt. we'll see how she does with the rx q's. the ob said she was thinking about referring me to an internal specialist at women's hospital - vancouver to manage my meds / dosages so i'll see how it goes.

I'm sorry, I don't know anything about Crestor, but I did want to welcome you to our forum, and wish you luck ttc!!  I would ask your Dr. advice about when to stop taking the Crestor.
