Do you use the ovulation predictor sticks-opinion on them

I usually start peeing on these sticks 11-14 days after my period begins. I followed all of directions and made sure I was having sex in the 23-48 hr window. THEN I just read of a woman who ovulates 2 times a month and me being curious as my cycle is so regular, I decided to test this week during my period and the test line is coming in just as dark as it does when I test in the middle of my cycle. I do it every other day as it takes a few days for it to come in nice and as dark as the control line. Sometimes If I test too early there is NO line which is - to me- indicative of ovulation occuring for me more than once a month as well. Then I begin wondering if your period will set the test off but disregarded that theory as I often watch it go from no line, to slightly pink, to an equal pink or darker than the test line (which tells you the correct color and indicates the test is not faulty.) JTLYK.......if ur not familial with how these these ovulation predictors work. They claim they are 99% accurate so ......you think Im not tripping and the  test is telling me Im now ovulating during my  period and when I test 14 days into my cycle. Im sooo confused and wanna trust the tests but.....

Has anyone else tried using the strips while still on your period? Maybe it's a flaw of the test strips and not that your ovulating twice. I also use the strips and I would love to switch to the digital, but I'm such a tight wad about that kind of thing I won't fork over the money.

I truly do swear by them.  I can tell you that I got incredibly frustrated with trying to use the type you are describing.  It is only positive if the test line is as dark or darker then the regulatory line, and trying to decipher made me crazy at times.  I switched to the Clear Blue Easy Digital.  They are more expensive...I think I paid $50 per pack..I think there were 7 in there.  But when positive you got a smiley face, and when negative a blank face.  No guesswork.   I used them faithfully and concieved on 5 different occasions with them.  Just my opinion.
