First 3 day embryo transfer

Hi, I had my first ivf day  3transfer on April 14th, today is my 9th day after ET. At first I was feeling a little cramping but, now the cramps seems to be going away. I know I was not suppose to take a home preg test but I just wanted to know. Anyway, the test came back negative but my actual bloodtest is not till April 29. Just wanted to know if anyone is experiencing the same thing.

I'm so sorry for your BFN - are you going to do another cycle?

Hi Silapooh,

We had the transfer on the 9th.  This is from frozen transfer.  We are hoping this one sticks well.  Hope everything is going well for you it is now the 29th.  We're hoping you got good news.

I had my transfer almost a year and a half ago - August, 2007, which resulted in a pregnancy.  I gave birth to a baby boy April, 2008.  He's not my first child although he's the first between me and my husband.

I vividly remember going through the horrible 10 day waiting period - I had a 5 day transfer - and it was just awful.

Thank you for responding. I am really tempted to take another HPT but I will wait for my actual blood test on the 29th. As they say, that is the only true test....6 more days to go:-)

i did a 5 day transfer but I remember reading on the fertility forum that getting a negative at this point means the trigger shot's out of your system so that's good.

Honestly, I would wait until a lot closer to the actual test before testing again.  These things really, really take time & only test if you can handle seeing a BFN.  Good luck on your upcoming beta - I hope you get that BFP! - jen
