Frustrated after D&C

I had a missed miscarriage at 8 weeks in Dec and a D&C done. Almost 6 weeks later, I had my first period, which continued for 18 days and I had to have a second D&C for retained tissue. My doctor said that it would take another 4 to 6 weeks for my period to show. My hcg levels tested zero or less than 2 7 days after the second D&C. I bled for 1 day after my 2nd D&C, then started a period on day 9 after 2nd D&C, or 28 days after my first post miscarriage period. I've heard that a D&C for cleaning out your lining doesn't change where you are in your cycle. Could this be a period? I am not ovulating.

My d&c Jan07 has seriously affected my cycles. None have been consistant since. Sometimes 24-25days sometimes as long as 55-60days! I was 28days like clockwork b4. I have had several u/s and b/w and all is normal.

You can have a period, but not ovulate.  More likely it's spotting from the 2nd D&C.  I just had one 5 days ago (for 3rd m/c); spotted one day, then nothing, now a bit again on day 5.  Was told it could be off and on for a few weeks.

I'm not aware that a D&C won't affect your cycle.  I think you need to wait.  If another 4 weeks go by and still no period, talk to you doctor about taking provera to induce your period.  After my first m/c and D&C, it took over 10 weeks for my period to show up, and only after I took the provera.
