Help me understand and cope

OK...I found out on June 11th (I was not even late) that I was pregnant. My HcG levels are as follows
6/11   - 225.5
6/13   - 484.3
6/16   - 1479
6/18   - 2790
6/20   - 5098
6/22   - 8452
I had a T/V U/S done today (6/24) and we found the gestational sac and yolk sac, but no fetal pole. I am worried sick.
I also had another Blood draw, which should get results tomorrow... and another T/V U/S on 7/2 to see if anything developed.

I am so sick with worry. I have had a lot of cramping...no bleeding...sore breasts....slight nausea in the am only.

Should I be worried that this is a blighted ovum?

I know it is very hard to be positive when you have had miscarriages.  I am in the same boat.  Was the 7% normal sperm meaning the morphology??  Don't worry too much, just take it one day at a time.  My motto is whatever will be, will be and there is not much I can change about what happens.  You can just hope for the best.  Best of luck and keep us updated.

Update....

I have had a few previous miscarriages, but those were more than 8 years ago, and with another partner.
My DH's SA showed only 7% normal sperm, so we had consulted an RE  just before finding out that we were expecting. And because of my husbands abnormal sperm, and my previous history of miscarriage, my regular obgyn is monitoring me more frequent.

I woke up this a.m. and my boobs stopped hurting (also they are not all that round and full looking as they have been)...the cramping I have been having, also almost stopped. I have this empty feeling inside, and think that I am going to loose the pregnancy, and it is just a matter of time for it to expel out of me.

I hope that this is still a viable pregnancy, but back in my mind I have already started to make peace with the thought that I will loose it.

Now, I hope I am just pessimistic, and that my levels will continue to go up....we shall see, I am getting the results from yesterday back today.

At this point, I am praying a lot.

I agree that it sounds like you are around 4 weeks now at which point you would not see much.  You are probably lucky you even saw the gestational sac!! :)  Your HCG looks good so in my opinion I don't think you have much to worry about right now!!  (not sure why they ran so many betas though??  I've never know anyone to get so many!)  Good luck and SSBD!!

When was your last period? Seems like you'd only be about four weeks pregnant now, and I doubt seriously that you'd see anything. I'm kind of surprised your MD would even do an ultrasound at this point. Do you have a history of miscarriages or anything? Do you have any reason to believe that this is anything other than a normal pregnancy? Anyway...I wish you luck! Let us know how things go...

Hi there.  It all depends on how far along you are.  If you are under or just around 6 weeks, it may just be too early.  The fetal heartbeat usually starts anywhere from 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 weeks.  If it is closer to 7 weeks, it is possible that it is a blighted ovum.  It is a good sign that you are not cramping or bleeding, and your HCG levels are rising nicely, so that is good as well.  Hang in there, and I wish you luck on your next ultrasound. Please keep us posted. Take care, Amanda
