Your best bet is to ask the Dr. Each protocol is different. He probably needs to wait until your blood gets to a certain level. Just don't take it unless he tells you too & at what dosage.
Also, your dates were typed wrong. You wrote your first clomid pill taken on may 3???
I am confused: if you take Clomid on one cycle, how can you also take gonal in the same cycle?? I thought it was either one but not both together!
It is possible to be on both oral and injectables at the same time as this is what they have done for me.
I was on Femara 2.5 mg (similar to Clomid) from day 3-7 and overlapped with Gonal F 150 units from day 6-10. I had Ovidrel trigger shot on day 11 followed by back to back IUI on day 12 and 13 (actually this AM!). My Dr. then puts me on Prometrium starting the evening of the 2nd IUI (tonight).
This is my 2nd cycle with this regime. I'm 39, DH 38 and we have unexplained infertility (I have always O'd on my own.). With the first cycle I had 2 follies, and this cycle I had 3.
Good luck to you!!
different doctors do things differently. I always started Gonal F on cycle day 5, but some doctors start you on cycle day 3. It depends on the RE, and you. They will let you know when to start, my office had me watch a video first on how to give yourself the injections then had me practice on an orange :) I know a few people that do clomid on cycle day 3-7&start gonal f on cycle day 5 ...IUI ,,,then they will monitor you with ultrasounds and bloodwork and when you have follies that are mature then you stop the shots, give yourself the trigger shot(ovidrel), then usually do the IUI within 32-48 hours. Hope that helped
Good luck, i hope this cycle ends in a BFP !
