Sure there is still a chance. Even the most sensitive tests are really best used on first day of missed period. Good luck!! (and don't forget to use first morning urine)
HI
I tested his morning and got a BFN!!! My period is due on Tuesday...Do you think there is a chance???? I used FRER :(
Thanks... I tested all of the times at 9:00. I'm just wondering why my progesterone is so high this month compared to the last four.
One word about progesterone testing: always test at the same time, the best time being late morning on an empty stomach such as 11AM, this is when your levels will be at their highest. I researched the literature in the past and that's what I discovered.
11/12 days past ovulation. We will see! I just got so excited when the nurse called on Monday because my progesterone hasn't responded great to the clomid for the past 4 months and this month skyrocketed!!!! Thanks for responding and good luck with you!!!!!!!
I am not certain about how quickly progesterone rises while on fertility meds, only that it does (at least with clomid). Sorry, not much help there I know. I never had my progesterone tested while pregnant as I was always on supplements, so my OB never bothered. In answer to basal temperature, yes, when you are pregnant it typically stays a bit high. I have heard of it dipping at implantation, then increasing a bit again. How many days past ovulation are you now? Are you having a beta/hcg blood test soon? Good luck to you.
This is my first week taking Metformin. Could that have raised my progesterone that quickly??? I only took it for 5 days before my day21 bloodwork. Has anyone had a level of 20.3 on their day 21 progesterone check AND BEEN PREGNANT? also a question about basel temperature... If you are pregnant does it stay high or can it drop a little ? Still above the middle
Absolutely you could be pregnant. However, please remember that clomid does raise your progesterone level, so unfortunately you still have to wait and see. Are you close enough to your period date to be able to take a home pregnancy test? I wish you well, please let us know!
