baby movement

I am 40 years old and I am 17 weeks pregnant with my second child. It has been 5 years since the last time I was pregnant so I have forgotten some things. I am concerned that I am not feeling the baby move as often as I should. I was told that with the second you feel movement sooner. Sometimes not sure if I'm feeling the baby or just gas. Not a question, just a concern.

Felt movement by week 17 w/ my first. Almost 18 weeks now w/ my second & have felt no movement yet. Ultrasound yesterday showed lots of movement & I was told I have an anterior placenta and because of this, I may not feel movement until around week 21.
