10 hours. It was super intense and my body even started shaking. I couldnt control it. Dr said it happens with induction. I was very nervous too but it goes by very fast. I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat. Actually pregnant again and excited to finally have this lil bundle in my arms! So worth it and u can always get the epidural if it's too much for you.
Im getting induced Wednesday so I'm getting a little nervous. How long were u in labor for??
It was intense.. Not gonna lie. The induction meds gave me contractions back to back and I felt like i could not catch a break but tjays just the meds doing what theyre supposed to i guess. My mom had 3 natural and one induction and she said induction meds make contractions alot more intense but we gotta do what we gotta do to get that baby out and drs will give u more and more to get that baby out as fast as they can. Thank god for the epidural haha.
I've been induced twice, and I've never experienced going into natural labor so I can't compare the difference! But, they insert an IV and give you pitocin to start labor, well they did in my case anyway. I was in labor 5 hrs the first time, 4 hrs the next. The pain is intense, I'm sure you can ask for an epidural if you need it, but in my case being induced is a lot faster than natural labor. Good luck!!
