If your asleep and you go into labor what happens

Hi. I'm 35 weeks pregnant and I want to know how you will know weither your in labor while your sleeping. I know it sounds stupid but it's for my own benefit. I don't want anything to happen to my baby so that's why I'm asking.

Please help me :)

Thank you both so very much it's a very exciting time but labor can be scary as well. Just hoping it all goes well

I was asleep and went into labor with my second child. I definitely knew that contractions kicked in. That feeling is unlike any other and woke me up with a start. I kicked my husband's leg to wake him up haha. Sometimes if you are asleep you won't feel the beginning contractions that get labor going but as they intensify you will know. Good luck! It is an exciting time :)
