Inducing question...

So, I'm 37 weeks, ftm and 28 years old. I have what is called ankylosing spondylitis, which is a fusing spine. My back has always been terrible, since I was a kid, and when I was diagnosed years ago, like seven years, a few of my vertibre at the tail end of my spine have already fused.

My back was hurting like normal through my pregnancy, but now, now he has dropped, and the pain causes me to collapse, I'm unable to walk, I can't work anymore, and I'm stuck in bed. This is even with me stretching and swimming like I am supposed to. Its gone to my hips even and its now traveling up my spine. I really want my baby to make his appearance when he is ready, but seeing that he is my first, I'm guessing he will be late.

I physically can NOT do this anymore, and with the past two days of non-stop contractions, I just want him out and want this over with. Do you think its possible that my doctor might want to induce me when I see her this week, or will they make me wait?

I don't think I can, and I just want to know, do doctors induce in situations like this?

Yes they definitely could induce you it just depends on your doctor. I'm also being induced due to kidney stones that are causing infections and I literally can't walk more then 20 ft without being exhausted from the medication I'm on, feels like my body is giv ing up,I'll be 372 weeks when I'm induced next week. Good luck and hope they induce u!
