Is it normal to have this much pain?

Ok, so I am 5 weeks PG from a FET. My numbers and everything looks good. I had 4 BETAs and they all came out good. However, since before I even got my BFP I have had this dull ache. I get mostly when I have been on my feet alot. It switches sides and is usualy just on one side or the other. I have been told that it is from my uterus stretching (from friends and family) but is it normal to hurt this much?

Ok, so I researched it, and I can't have corpus luteum, because I had FET and didn't Ovulate. However I have been researcing it, and found that I probly have a sciatica nerve. It feels just like round ligament pains. I will metion it to my DR next time I talk to her. It's nothing serious, just uncomfortable. It's basicly a pinched nerve. I feel so much better knowing.

W/ my last IVF I had an ectopic, so yes it is posible. The Dr was just as clueless as to how it happened as I was, but it was definatly ectopic. Anyway, the pain is not so severe that I feel threatened, so DH says he doubts that's what it is. It's just uncomfortable. I can't help but worry, after having lost 2. I am working on it though, which is why I haven't paniced and called my DR yet.

You could very well be right. It does kinda feel like it's coming from my Ovaries, but I couldn't figure out why it would be. Thank You. I feel so much better now knowing there can be a logical explanation. And yes, if it was severe pain I would definatly call my Dr. This is just like you said, a dull ache.

Does it feel like it could be coming from your ovaires?  I had corpus luteum pain in the early part of both of my pregnancies.

It was just a dull ache.. if you are exeriencing anythining more intense than that, you would call your dr for sure.. you shouldn't be in pain..

If you had embryos implanted, it's not possible for there to be an ectopic, is it? (Unless I'm totally clueless about the implantation process...) Anyway - honestly, pregnancy comes with all kinds of odd aches and pains. When I was just a week or so pregnant, I had sharp kind of "pulling" sensations around my hipbones. Your body is doing all kinds of stuff, getting ready to grow that baby - and you're going to be experiencing a lot of weird and odd sensations. I know it's easier said than done - but try not to get too concerned about all of them, or you'll drive yourself crazy. As for the pain being from your uterus stretching (it's usually called round ligament pain) - it's a little early for it to be doing that. You know, some of the pain can also be from the increased blood flow to the pelvic area. Anyway...just hang in there! You're going to be fine!

Thank You for awnsering me. I'm not sure what to think, but I am worried about Ectopic. We transfered 3 Embryos so hubby thinks there's more than one and that's why I feel it so much more. It's kinda off to the side around my hip bones, and as I said before it changes sides. I also feel the light cramping, little pulls, and from time to time a sharp, fast pain. But this is more of a dull ache, and I have it when I have been active and on my feet for awhile. When I get off my feet it goes away. I could ask my DR to do my US sooner, but I would rather wait to make sure there is a heartbeat there. Maybe I'm just going to have an uncomfortable pregnancy? Or maybe DH is right? If it gets unbarable I will definatly let my DR know.

Every now and then I get cramps, aches and have even had a few shooting pains on my right side.  I worried (because I worry about absolultely everything..lol) that it could be etopic, but it only happened a couple of times then stopped.  It seems pregnancy comes with all kinds of aches and pain, however if it is that consistant and extremely painful, it never hurts to give your OB a call.  Being that it happens on both sides, it's not going to be etopic, but setting your mind at ease is never a bad thing.  Good luck, and congrats!!
