Bananas, water and a little more dairy helped me! I noticed I only get them when ive been in the heat a lot or ive done a ton of walking. Im sure living in flip flops doesnt help. But more than 64 oz of water and a banana a few times a week helped me a lot.

I have terrible leg cramps at night as well (I wonder why always at night?) And my doctor recommended to take magnesium. Since I'm taken iron as well, she asked me to make sure I don't take them at the same time. Can't really tell jet if it helps though...

Dehydration may cause the cramps.....so be sure that you are having plenty of water and other fluids. Moreover, having ptussium rich food such as bananas may also help.
