Low progesterone question

Does anyone have an opinion on this:
If you have low progesterone levels ( short luteal phase ),and you get pregnant, do you think you are less likely to have sore breasts and fatigue?  Without the proper progesterone do you think these pg symptoms would not appear at 5-6 weeks.  I know low progesterone can lead to early miscarriage if you dont take supplements.   I was just thinking that when I was pregnant last November, I had no symptoms, no sore breasts, NO fatigue, I actually had tons of energy, then I miscarried at about 6 weeks.
Fatigue and sore breast were major major symptoms with Chloe and my first m/c at 9 weeks.
Just wondering,
Lisa

Hum, that's a tough one. I have a 23 day cycle with a 10 day luteal phase. When I conceived my daughter, I had all of the symptoms. I did start taking supplements as soon as I found out I was pregnant but that wasn't until I was already 5 weeks along, because I didn't pay much attention to my periods back then. I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it.

I actually am pretty certain you are right.  When I am taking prometrium my breasts are sore even when it's BFN.  I have also read somewhere (although I can't remember the source, so not sure how reliable it was) that the higher your progesterone levels, the stronger the pregnancy symptoms.  Now, that doesn't mean if you have no pregnancy symptoms you will miscarry as progesterone can still be plenty high enough even if it's not high, know what I mean?

Interesting question though, I am going to ask my OB about it next appointment.
