Me again!!

Hey ladies...Here's a good one for you!!  I announced my BFN and I am still PISSED off about that...Now, just for the heck of it I used the ovulation stick...same time 10pm that I always do and guess what??? It was very very dark!!! Now AF was due on Sunday...we did the deed(LOL!!!) last night and after I went to the bathroom and there was a little bit of blood when I wiped. That was it. I thought the BD would bring on AF...it does that sometimes...well still nothing. AF is missing in action. Anyway is it normal to have such a dark result on an ovulation stick the day after AF is due??? The 10th, 11th and 12th the tests were dark and then lightened the next day. How can I be ovulating now when AF hasn't made an appearance yet??? The OPK is "Ovusure" and it had very good ratings. You can look it up if you want to. I am very confused. I mean this test was DARK!!! Why?? Please help me. I am calling my OB today to see if they will get me in to run some tests...like the FSH one. Any input for my confusion would be very welcoming!! Have a wonderful day...it will be 94 degrees here in my part of NY today. It went from Winter to Summer overnight!!  Love you all!!

I am more curious about the spotting...not so much now, but the last 3 "periods" were spotting but not enough to wear a panty liner? I'm not sure but I would think that those weren't periods? I would talk to my doctor about that! Find out what is going on there because that might have something to do with your trouble TTC. Get the bloodwork, see the doctor, and GOOD LUCK!!! I'm pullin' for ya!

I'm with Suz.  Get the bloodwork done just to end this torment for you.  The not knowing for sure is the absolute worst!!  As for all the posts, honey, that's what this is all about.  We look after each other!!!  You post a thousand times if that is what it takes!!! You know I am getting cramps from all this crossing, and I bet dollars to donuts Rachel has no nails left...lol.  Just kidding.  But in all honesty, I can't stop thinking about you either, and I so hope this is it and that pink is just that weird spotting that can happen.  Lots of love and SSBD by the truckload!

I think it wouldn't hurt to have the test done anyway, just for your own peace of mind and so you know exactly what is going on. I'm glad you have an appointment set up. You have lots going on and it's easy to ask alot of questions then walk out and remember something you forgot to bring up. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to write your questions down and things you want to tell him so when you leave you both have all of the information so you know exactly what your next step is and where you stand now. And it's good that you add your questions to the forum, I think. I would bet other women have some of the same questions you do, so it's always good to ask. I've learned so much from all of you guys from reading your past questions and advice. It's not just helpful to you, but to people like me too, who read all the posts for info.
Take care, hun!

Well, nothing more since my last post. No pink at all. I could go like this for days. The last 3 months...like I said...pink one minute, nothing the next. Doesn't even require a pantyliner. So....if there is still nothing or just the pinkish stuff, I should have the test done anyway??? The blood work up was done in December when I first consulted her about wanting to ttc. She gave me the go ahead and said to "Actively try" for at least 3 months...have Dave tested which is what I am setting up when I go in the morning for the blood test...then go from there. I still don't know what the numbers mean and I know she said they were normal but I want specifics and she was unavailable to "talk" to. If the blood test is negative then I am setting an appointment to see what else I can do that won't break the bank.  Thanks ladies...I know this is alot from me lately but besides My David, you ladies are the only ones who understand and are supportive...I love you guys!!

I don't know about any of the numbers. When was this blood taken? The only thing I'm familiar with is the Progesterone, that's why I'm wondering when it was taken.  I agree w/Rachel, if it gets heavier, it may be a period...if it stops, get t he bloodwork, what will it hurt right?  Lots of squeezes :0) Kellie

I have not had all of the testing done so I cannot answer about your levels. As for the mucus spotting that could go either way. I would wait and see what happens tonight. If it gets worse then I would probably not go get bloodwork if stops I would definitely get bloodwork. I had spotting with this pregnancy at 5 weeks and 11 so spotting can sometimes be a normal part of pregnancy or it can mean something else. I am really sorry you are still having to wait. Believe me, you have been on my mind all day today. I truly hope this works out for the best!!!!!!!

OK ladies, I called for a blood test, went and picked up a script for it so I will go in the morning (lab was already closed today). Also grabbed a script for a semen analysis for him...just to be sure. I also got the results from my work up and here are the numbers...they are all foreign to me so maybe you can help me...I'm not good at reading lab tests.
TSH, 3rd generation 1.28
FSH, 13.1
LH 19.9
Prolactin, 6.4
Estradiol, 192
Progesterone, 0.5
I spoke to the nurse and she said these are all normal...is that the case? You ladies have been through all this and I have no clue...
Also, just went to the bathroom and there is pink when I wipe and it's mucusy (don't know if I spelled that right). Am I counting this as a period now? I went through this the last 3 months. Always just pink, never need to use anything, doesn't transfer onto panties. Should I still take the blood test anyway?  Let me know what you think and know that I love you all soooo much for all your support and help through this!!

Aww Dawn, I am sorry it was BFN.  When you said late AF and positive OPK, I really thought this was it as well.  I say go right to the bloodtest, and I also hope I didn't push you too hard to retest.  Anyway, keeping everything crossed for you.  I can only imagine how frustrated you have to be right now.  Love ya girl!!

Wow! when you started that other thread I thought AF had come! Did you BD last night? There have been cases where women have O'd right before or during AF. But I am praying that the OPK is actually responding to BFP!!!!!!!!!!!  I have my fingers and toes crossed and am praying for that BFP for you. I have read stories just like the one you mentioned where they keep testing BFn and ultrasound says differently. Also have heard of women not testing BFN until a week or more past when AF was supposed to arrive. Personally, I never take a BFN to heart. The only true sign is AF showing up and until that happens, I know there is always hope!

I used those first response, and with the two that I lost they tested positive before my missed period,  but with both of my babies (the one's who drive me nuts now) I tried those tests on the day of my missed period and BFN...  a couple of days later BFP, and now screaming kids!  so maybe you just have low hgc being early and all!  the not knowing is the killer!  maybe you did ovulate twice and if you aren't preggers yet, in two weeks you will be!

It's not your fault!! That should be why it was + opk. I am getting ready to call on my lunch break. We had NYS Science testing so I didn't get to call at 10:30 either. I'll keep you posted and please don't feel bad...I've researched +opk after ovulation and everyone says the same thing...it is usually a pregnancy. I also read a post somewhere that a woman had neg hpt's and blood tests for weeks and weeks. She finally demanded an ultrasound and sure enough...there was a baby!!! Not that that will happen to me but...weirder things have happened to people right!! I will keep you posted.. Thanks!!

Well you made that appointment with your Dr. ?  Even the stress you've been going through can mess with your A/F but that doesn't explain the OPK's. I have heard of other reasons for false +  with the OPK's but really they just aren't that common. I've had some trouble with the Shopper's Drugmart brand this month so I gave up on them.  I don't know if I was doing something wrong or if those tests just aren't that accurate or if ... etc etc  Too many IF's. :(
Hun, I'm sorry about your BFN. But I have to say, it kind of sounds to me like you aren't quite ready to give up after all! Are you ok this morning?
HUGS

oh great.. LOL.... now I'm going to have to log in and check this post during the night just in case you woke up... BUT based on our time difference, you should have posted by the time I wake up in the am anyway. With all my heart I'm wishing for that BFP for you! But you better test soon or I may have to drive up and uncross Amanda before she gets stuck that way. LOL
We're all here supporting you no matter what happens.

OTFLMAO!!!! Ok, I compromised...I peed on another ovulation stick. I have lots of them!  I only have one hpt here and I want to use it first thing. I held it for 1 hour for the opk and believe me...I had to go. Anyway, it was still dilluted, the lines are lighter tonight but the test line is still darker than the control line so that made me feel better. I am not drinking anything else tonight...it is 9:50 here and I want to go to sleep. If I wake up in the middle of the night I will do it then and post as soon as I do ok!! Love you guys!!
