Best thing to do in those situations is drink something sugary like juice or soda (temp doesn't matter, it's not like it is cold when it gets to the baby;). Then lay down in a quiet place and start counting movements- kicks, rolls and jabs all count. About 10 movements in a 2 hour period is what they look for. But anytime you're unsure or nervous call your doctor. It's always nice to get reassurance:) Glad you're feeling your little muffin!
Thanks so much. It seems I posted too early. I'm feeling the hiccups. I panicked for a minute. Thank you again xx
Babies sleep about 90% of the time. And definitely run out of room in there to stretch their lil bodies out. I drink ice cold water or OJ when I haven't felt my lil guy in a while. There is never any harm in calling the Dr. I personally would double check if I was worried after I tried all I could on my end. Good luck to you!
They tend to move less as you get closer to delivery. However, if she isn't moving if you poke at her or drink coffee or oj, call your doc. There is no harm in going in to be checked.
