POAS addicts How early have you tested??

Okay so I'm 5 (or 4) DPO and was just curious how many of you POAS addicts actually test earlier than you really should..  I can honestly say the earliest for me is usually 8dpo.

I am terrible!  I have tested as early as 5 DPO!  I always logically know I won't get a BFP, but can't seem to help myself.  I have had a BFP about 8DPO though, and got a negative from a Dr.'s urine test that same time.  I was in fact positive though, confirmed by bloodwork, so it can happen early.  Great poll, thanks for posting it.

I've found that realistically the earliest I'd test is  10DPO.   It takes about a week for the egg to travel through the fallopian tube and into the uterus.  Then a couple of days to implant. It floats around in the uterus for a while.  Sometimes it disintergrates before it will ever implant.   Then another couple of days to produce enough hcg to be found in your urine.   Don't bother testing before 10DPO as it's probably a waste of money .   Maybe 9DPO would be good, but realistically you are pushing your luck.   Of course I know there are always exceptions to the rules...but in general 10DPO you might get a very very faint line on FRER.

I usually test when af is late by a few days, but af isn't due till the 14th and I've been trying to control myself every time I go past a store. I was pretty nauseous the past 2 mornings and the suspense is killing me!!!!!!lol

LOLO, ahhh the POAS-o'holics speak out!  I have done the gammit, but mostly have always tested way way too early to detect...AND have spent a small fortune in the process : )

i was using $tree tests, and because of a dream started testing at 5dpo....4 days later (9dpo) i got a faint pos.  am now 18.5 weeks and going strong.  but very tired...lol

I've tested in ICPs and $trees at 7 & 8dpo. But, for the REAL deal, I usually start at 9 or 10dpo.  I've gotten bfps on 10 & 11dpo w/FRER.

I will admit to doing the first test about six DPO...which I knew was really stupid, but I just couldn't stop myself. LOL. I did another every other day or so until my BFP on 12 DPO. Even that one was really light. The really BAD thing about finding out so early, though, is that it sure makes for a LOOOOOONG pregnancy. LOL.

I can't vote, because my choice is not up there. The earliest I will test is 12 dpo.  I am too afraid to see a BFN that early in my cycle, so I just wait, but not patiently!!!
