Patty - I want to know about Cassandra...

Hi Patty!

Now, I know that your post on the subject was really controversial!!  But I do want to know how she's doing..  If people are not comfortable with this story they better just stay away from this post.  We're all friends here and if some are too stressed out to hear about such stories, it's fine. But I don't appreciate that other woman telling us to do our business via private email..we were here first!!  LOL

So,  is Cassandra doing any better?  I thought about her all day yesterday, praying for a miracle.  Hope your daughter is doing ok also.  Let us know..

Melanie

Yay! I'm glad for the update and while I know there is a long time to go still the improvement is positive news.

Sorry I came down harsh in the other post, but I agree w/ you :0)

Sheila,
Thanks!
The only thing I did was posted about Cassandra and some women would have rather me not post that in this forum. That's it! I dunno...

Kris,
Thanks! Yeah, I'm hoping that she makes a quick complete recovery! I don't think she will be able to hold the baby much with the condition she will be in for a while with the stitches down her chest and all, but she will have plenty of help from family and friends! =o)

Hey Jeannette,
Thanks! You know this morning while taking a shower I was thinking about what happened, and here was my conclusion, I wasn't going to let it get my down any longer. I seriously was hurt because I hurt someones feelings on here or said the wrong thing in my post, but then after thinking and thinking and then coming back on this morning and looking at the headline on top of the page.. the description of this forum it says this forum is for women 35 and older to share your INTERESTS in PREGNANCY and CHILDBIRTH. So then I asked myself while lathering up.. what in my post was so wrong? I am 35.. I wanted to ask for prayers for someone who experienced something horrible during CHILDBIRTH!! But the thing that got me was.....
People who read the heading to my post saw very clearly that it said PRAY FOR CASSANDRA..... HELLOOOOOOO what about that did you not suspect was going to be sad?? They had a choice NOT to click on it and read it..... but they CHOSE TO.. then have the audacity to criticize me for something that was so painful to me!  I'm thinking.. If I didn't want to read something terrible I probably would have scrolled over something that said PRAY FOR SOMEONE.. because more then likely what is in the post isn't necessarily going to be good news.. why else would it say PRAY FOR such and such??

And the fact that I absolutely love you women! My husband thinks it's childish at times... hehe.. you better bet he knows what each and every one of you are having and when ya'll are due! I think he gets sick of hearing about stories from the ladies here when he calls from work but he doesn't say anything.. he just tells me that's great blah blah blah........ lol.. Gotta Love him!

Thanks again!!

Wow.  You go away from this forum for a couple of days and you miss all the action!

I just read through your other post.  I am SO relieved that your friend came out of her coma.  She is very much in my thoughts and my heart.

I'm glad we have this forum here to support us, during all the good, not-so-good, and downright heartbreaking things that can happen during pregnancy.

Glad you decided to stay with us.  You have been a mainstay here.

Thanks so much Mel!
Yes she is doing much better! Thank God! I was worried about her all day yesterday too. My daughter just called a little while ago from the hospital and they took the baby to see her and she was crying! Bless them both!
Thanks for your prayers! It did help I believe!!

Sorry girls... I just saw that Patty already gave an update on the other post.  Before I posted this one I did check on page 1 to see if she did but it wasn't there, so I figured I'd start a new one...

Patty - glad to hear she's gonna be ok.  See, it did help to post on here.  How else would she have gotten more positive energy coming from all around the world?  ;)
