Know more about implantation bleeding?

Could someone tell me a little more about implantation bleeding?  The reason I ask is I am 5 days late today and have felt like I was going to start AF.  Was going to get a EPT yesterday and while I was out went to the bathroom and wiped and had blood. Not a lot, but enough for me to think AF was on it's way so didn't get test. After got home still no blood on pantyliner, (never did have enough for that) and then when wipe browish a couple times and then nothing. I thought well it will start middle of night because have been waking up to pee in middle of nights again.  Nothing, today not even a drop of pink.  I did see a couple spots on my 28th day and then went away. Today called my OBGYN and talked to a nurse who said she didn't know anything about implantation bleeding. Does this sound like implantation to you?  Or shoudl I be worried someting is wrong. I will be getting a test Saturday. Thanks

Bleeding in early pregnancy can be for many other reasons as well, and its pretty common (and usually nothing to be worried about)  If you are 5 days late, and no real AF, and usually regular,  it sounds good to me.  I can't beleive you have the patience to wait until saturday....you are stronger then I am.  Best of luck to you, I really hope its positive!!

This is first time I skipped, other than when I was pegnant with my son. I was supposed to start on Friday and I saw tinted discharge for a ocuple days (didn't have to wear a panty liner) and then yesterday when I wiped and that was all. Tonight when I was fixing supper, I got so nauseus and couldn't eat which is totally out of normal for me. I hope this is completely normal. Thanks for reposnding.

Implantation bleeding occurs between 5 and 12 DPO.  It usually does occur just before your period is due, but not after your period is due.  Have you ever skipped periods before?  Chances are, if you haven't, then you are pregnant and just experiencing some early pregnancy bleeding (competly normal).  Let me know
