Just checking in.....

I sure miss being able to post and comment regularly.  Things are calming down a bit and Ryder and I are into a bit more of a routine.  He is growing like crazy and doing really really well.  Please don't think I am not thinking of you all and watching as best I can for those BFP's and birth stories.  This community was there for me when I needed it most, and I fully intend to pay that back....besides so many of you mean so much to me and I love hearing what is going on with you.  Miss everyone, and I will eventually return those notes and pm's!!  XOXO  Amanda

No worries Amanda!   Check in when you can. Keep the pics coming on your profile. It is truly a source of inspiration.  This is the time to focus on your new family.  I think this online family truly understands that :)  Enjoy!!

You mean they slow down to eating every two hours??  Lol, this little monkey is more like every hour or so, at least for the past bit.  I was worried and called the public health nurse. She assured me I am producing enough breast milk as he is packing on the weight...I can't believe how much he has filled out.  Also, lot's of poopy diapers, which is a good sign she said.  So all is well, but the only thing I do when he sleeps is sleep myself.  House is a mess and I don't care!! lol.  I just love this, every single second of it!!

I wouldn't worry about it :) Newborns are very high maintenance for a while, their schedules are relentless and can wear you a bit thin and when you do have some free time there's always something else you'll need to get to .......enjoy him you've waited a long time for this..... It gets better when they're not eating every two hours.

We all totally understand.  You need to spend this precious time with your new little man because they grow-up so darn fast it's not even funny.
