Shower Game??
I have to share this story w/everyone but it does sound a little gross :-)). My dds hosted my baby shower this past weekend. We had a blast playing games and THEN those girls bought a cheapo baby doll w/a diaper, filled the diaper w/chunky peanut butter, and then had dh change the diaper in front of everyone & timed him. You guys, it was hysterical!! He's never changed a diaper before and he was holding that doll by the head and then he twisted its legs up by its head trying to get all of the peanut butter off of its butt. Maybe you had to be there to see it but I haven't laughed this hard in ages! I think dh scared everyone by his 'unique' diaper changing ways - I can't wait to see him do the real thing - what a card! - jennifer (34w6d)
Oh man! I was laughing at the picture of W trying to change that diaper!! my mom wanted to do that same game but with mustard! YUCK! lol

Hey now - I'm going to go on the record and say you BETTER BE NICE TO THAT DH OF YOURS - quit picking on him - lol - the first time he lets you sleep and he gets up with Noah you'll be so appreciative - he's trying - lol - although in a really funny way - poor man - not a bad idea to let him practice now before he has to do the real thing - our shower here they did a game with samples of baby food, we had to taste the food and guess what it was - I was left wondering how old Abby would have to be for us to puree McDonalds for her - gaga maga - some of those foods were gross - but be NICE to that hubby of yours woman
Jen- Yes it is a week from Saturday- I told my daughter we should have had it long before now but she's so spontaneous! I told her if I go in to labor she will be the one filling in for me!.. Labor that is.. ahaha... I'm getting excited!!
I bought me a few of dr browns born free bottles. GLASS you can get them at target online. and three of the natural flow.. should help with colic.. (just in case) smile
I would think too the hospital will give you some formula in bottles, premade stuff.? you can alway wash those and use them while still infants.because there small. same with the juice bottles.. the nipples just screw right in place. eeeek or atleast they did in the good ol days.
I breastfed my dd so Im really clueless on bottles too.. I just did some reading up on the other post and thats what other moms are using. lol I just bought alot of diffrent nipples, and diffrent level flows. ugh.. I think in that dpt... It will be a hit or miss. Im just sticking to glass for the safeside.

Jennifer- We got ours from Walmart, it's the Tango in the Tongo theme. Ohh it's so cute!!

With all the scare going around about the plastic, you can't be too sure. Yanno, I hate it when they do this to us, use certain products for years and then come back and say ooops we're sorry this has the potential to kill your sorry butt if you use it!.. ARGH!!!!

Glad you had a good time, Tennessee - it's a blast isn't it?? I wore this belly band my dh got for me since I feel the baby is about to fall out - LOL! Anyway, that band saved my life or my bladder because it kept Noah 'intact' while I was laughing so hard!

Mine is April 5th. I already have a ton of things off my registry because my daughter will not stop buying for this baby!! I tell her all the time to let others have a chance to buy some things but she can't control herself! It's great and I appreciate it but my lord! She's spending all her paychecks on Brayden! On Easter she gave me a bag that had 8 outfits in it! Brayden also has more clothes now then the whole family! His too are more in the 0-3 range.

To be frank, I have two registries but I got very little off of them and of course a bunch of outfits in the 0-3 month range. My child now officially has more clothes than the whole family! I plan on taking some of them back & get stuff in different sizes. Patty, when's yours or have you already had it? I still have so much to buy unfortunately. I'm feeling overwhelmed as the date is approaching so fast. Why didn't I start sooner??

ahaha I would have LOVED to have seen that! My DH asked me if guys normally go to baby showers and I told him *not normally* but if he wants to come that would be great! He could join in on all the fun activities!! Glad you all had a blast!! What a memory to tell Noah!
