Sleep during contractions?

I'm 38 &5 today, last week after intercourse I felt like something was different ( and I had 8 hrs of contractions after) dr. Said yesterday that I'm almost at 4cm, so like the genius I think I am- I went home and jumped on the other half to do the only thing that has caused contractions and progressed dilation for me. Had them immediately following BD all night, then they were gone all day. out of nowhere, they're back- about 6-9 minutes apart for the last hour. Wondering if I go into labor if I'll wake up in time. I'm dead tired, but I don't want to sleep through anything important!

Lol....yes, you will wake up. You may be in a rush, but you won't sleep through too much. And it would be a good idea now to get as much rest as possible to store up your energy.
