Still bleeding and worried! (not pregnant)

Sorry to start a new thread but I'm worried.
First, Thank you to ChristineMP and Adgal for  both for your answers on my previous thread.  It is much appreciated!  This mid cycle bleeding thing is starting to worry, well scare me right now, which is why I started a new thread.   I'm STILL bleeding - it is now day 7 (which is really what should be day 19 of my normal cycle).  Sorry to get so detailed here, but its not a heavy or even medium flow, just like a constant trickle (days 1-3 were heavier) with all the other symptoms of a period - cramps, lower back ache, etc.  Could this be something else?? I don't have a regular obgyn since I was seeing a Fertility Spec. last year, so I don't have a doc I can immediately call except my primary care dr.   If anyone has gone through this, please post so I can relax a bit - I feel like its never going to end!  If it doesnt stop by mid next week, I'm definitely going to the doctor, but til then I could really use some peace of mind that this happens to alot, or some women my age (42)...ANY info would be most appreciated!  Thanks!

You are very welcome and PLEASE don't feel silly. Prolonged bleeding is very worrisome.

ChristineMP and Adgal...Thanks again for your comments.  I know its been a while, but after 11 days the bleeding stopped.  I then had a somewhat normal period on about what would have been Day 30 of my cycle.  I feel bad for taking so long to post, but in truth I feel a bit foolish for overreacting.  Anyway, Thank you again for your answers.  It helped. :)

My daughter had an odd cycle last year (she was 20) and she bled for over 3 weeks. She saw a doctor who did blood work, an ultrasound, etc and all they came up with was it was a fluctuation in her hormones. It ended and she hasn't had a problem since.

I'm glad our comments on your other post helped.

I really think you should see your primary care Dr.  I think it's important.  Mid cycle bleeding or spotting is typical just that..spotting or a day or two of light bleeding.  But to bleed for 7 days mid cycle probably should be investigated.  I seriously doubt it's anything serious to worry about, so not trying to panic you or anything, but it should be looked in to.  The only thing that comes to mind is a very early period.  All the best to you.
