What does it matter what the mom eats if the gender is determined by dad?

My DH just called to tell me he read this CNN article...

My DH says he read a different article that said bananas did something to your CM.  Basically that the boy sperm could live longer in it.  I guess Girl sperm live longer generally.

Who knows.  All these studies drive me nuts.

I saw this too...and was trying to figure it out, since the male sperm selects gender...

i was wondering if there was something like, maybe if you are carrying a girl, you are more likely to miscarry based on your level of potassium

therefore more pregnancies that have high potassium result in boys?

Nope, don't buy it at all. The only thing that eating lots of bananas is going to cause is a good dose of constipation. Can't believe they actually published this on CNN.

darn diet.. must be why I didn't get my boys... always on a diet and I HATE BANANAS!!! my brother told me the seeds in the bananas were where the banana poops when I was little and I just can't shake that image haha
