Stuffy nose.

Can I use an inhaler for my stuffy nose, I think I got the cold from one of my students :( after all I did not to get sick.

Sometimes you can get congested even though you don't have a cold. One of the many pleasures of being pregnant is nasal congestion. This is my second pregnancy & I had congestion with my first & with this baby too.

Benadryl will work wonders! Also, a saline nasal spray & a cool mist humidifier will help. Maybe some essential oils?

The inhaler has menthol, peppermint oil, and eucalyptus oil. I don't think that they're harmful to the baby?

I know it's safe to take benedryl  and Tylenol. Am no so sure about your inhaler just to make sure talk to your ob.

Go over ingredients in your nasal inhaler with your dr. There may be things added that aren't safe for the baby. I had to change my face lotion because of an added ingredient that can cause birth defects.

I wouldn't. Get a saline spray (from any drugstore-Target, Walgreens, CVS). If that doesn't work talk to your dr first before using your nasal inhaler so they can g
