congrats..2 of my sisters have twin boys and they are GREAT :O)
Congrats x 2 that's awesome I know you're excited you know there sure are alot of us twin mommies on here.
Congrats on your two boys, BUT I truly understand, cause I too am having a boy, and though I'm VERY grateful, I so wanted a girl............but hey, congrats all the same
Thank You, You're all so sweet. Having boys will be a lot of fun and I can't wait to meet them :).
Last night we started researching names, and I think that finding boys names is a bit more difficult than girls. Especially when we have to work with certain letters. We want to name them in honor of our grandparents that are no longer with us. So our options are L, N, or J. Since there will be 2 of them, having 2 names for each might be a bit too much. Don't know yet. I'll start compiling a list of names that we like.
Helen - I'm sure my mom will go crazy with shopping without even telling me. Every time I go to a store now, I can't resist going through kids department. So closer to my due date I'll buy a bunch of stuff too. Also my friend just opened her own kids clothing store so she is promising to take me to the wholesalers. We'll see.
HeathJo - It's kind of scary to think about a 3rd baby at this time. I have no idea how I'll handle 2 at the same time. But you're right you just never know what live will throw at you.
Congratulations Lexima! That's great news. I found out a week ago that we're having a boy. It's my third boy, but his first child. I really was hoping for a girl, but now that I've had a week to get used to the idea, I'm getting excited and thinking of names. I like Elijiah and the middle name Blue. I know it sounds silly to have a middle name "Blue", but I like how they sound together. Can anyone thing of another middle name that's like that, but more like a name?
Here's a link on what a level 2 scan is:

I wasn't able to find a level 3 scan, but my guess is that it's just checking the growth like the level 2, but at a later stage of pregnancy. Congratulations again on your beautiful boys!
Chris
Congratulations! I was like you - all our friends had girls and I could only imagine myself having a girl...until the ultrasound tech told us it was a boy! I was in shock for a the first day, but now I cannot imagine it any other way, and I have already told DH that when we try again for another baby I hope its another boy so that they can be close and play together etc. I think it really took DH a while to wrap his head around the fact that he was having a boy (because he really wanted a girl) but I got over it quickly and now I cant wait to meet my boy!
Congrats again and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy!
congrats, im a mum of three boys probably four soon and i wouldnt trade any of them for my choice of any little girl. boys are close to their mummies and personally i think they rock. enjoy.
This is awesome, Lex. I have heard that little boys worship their mommies and are so sweet, and can be the babies who sleep through the night and are just plain easier all around. You know you will fall so in love with these boys from day one, and will be a sucker for them always!
As far as having a girl goes, one NEVER knows what can happen. . .
congratulations on your boys.. :)
I totally understand! I am the same way although it would be impossible to keep my mom from shopping :) I would be uncomfortable receiving congratulations and gifts in advance. I am not a superstitious person but I would prefer that after the event.
Note however that shopping with newborn twins will be rather difficult so buy as much as you can in advance.
Congrats to you!! I am so excited for you...twins would be so great!! I wish you a healthy remainder of your pregnancy!!
I just want to say congratulations on your wonderful news!!! There is nothing more exciting than having twins.Maybe thats's because i have twin boys.Matter a fact, today is their 28th birthday.I remember it like it was yesterday!! Take care..Have you started thinking of names? You have plenty of time....enjoy and the best of luck! Janice
Thank You so so much.
I've calm down already. Spoke to my family and few close friends, everyone is thrilled especially my family. My parents had 2 girls so this will be different and exciting. And I already started browsing the web for cool baby boy clothes and funky carseats.
I won't be shopping just yet, most of the stuff we'll buy after babies are born, but we'll definitelly get the neccessary stuff in advance. I'm not gonna have a baby shower either. Maybe I'm a bit old fashioned in that sense, but that's the custom. You probably understand.
Congrats x2!! Now you can start shopping for everything blue!!!
Sorry about not having a girl but raising two sons will be rewarding although in a different way than raising a girl.
