I am 35 years old, have been diagnosed with PCOS and am trying to conceive for the first time. Went to doctor in April and found that my progesterone level was 0.82. My OB/GYN prescribed Metformin and I am starting my fourth week of it at 750 mg 2 x per day. I have also taken 1 cycle of clomid earlier this month. Been taking ovulation prediction tests for a few days and still nothing on day 16 of my cycle. Anyone have any advice, suggestions or experience they would like to share? Really feeling kind of down right now especially because daddy to be had to leave to go out of town today and I am afraid I will ovulate while he is gone and we will miss our chance this month. Feeling very anxious about everything.

I have had very different ovulation dates since I've been TTC. They range anywhere from CD9-CD15. I learned to check my cervix as a better predicter because the kits are so hard to use, I would get 5-6 days of positives! It's so hard when you have to miss a month for whatever reason but in the end, it will be worth it. Good luck to you!

Welllet me first start off by saying PCOS isn't fun. I to am on Met and Clomid. Some OPK say that people with PCOS and or who are using Clomid may come out with some FALSE positives..or come out negitive when they are indeed Ovulating. Are you using sticks or digital? I would say go to digital..it is clearly YES OR NO. There is many of women like you on a group here....they are all helpful and we all help each other. You want to read and join us!

Just keep your faith sweety. I tested everyday until I got a Positive on the ovualation test, now I am just waiting to see if this is the month, otherwise I retry it again only this time I am thinking about Clomid.
