What is the first thing your going to eat afterward?
So there is such a list of things we aren't really supposed to eat or drink while pregnant. I am curious..what are you missing the most and what's the first thing you want after you give birth? I have told DH that as soon as I am home I want Sushi (I miss it so much and am just craving it!) and a glass of wine. That is going to be my reward for labour...lol. What are you having?
A frozen margarita or a beer. I'm not a big drinker - will have a drink if we go out to dinner. Theres just a thing when you CANT have something, you want it even more.
I ate sushi and breastfed my daughter with no problems. I will do the same with my son. Doc was aware and with my past 13 years working in ob/gyn and the medical field we always advised patients to eat it in moderation.
But to each their own...

Just an FYI....You should not be eating Sushi if you plan on breastfeeding.
re:chocolate: I was referring to the post by Sue68. I've been having dark chocolate throughout this pregnancy.
Amanda, good point about the cheese from Canada/USA... I should be less "Eurocentric" with my food habits and give it a try. I love goat cheese too. Now I am hungry!
