What the heck is going on?

Since last night, I have had moderate to severe urinary tract pain. I am sure this is not due to a UTI because I have very recently had my urine tested and it was clean. I have tried everything thing to relieve the pain: drink lots of water, urinary pain analgesics, not ingesting caffeine or citrus, etc. Over the years I have had problems w chronic urinary discomfort due to narrow urethra associated w scar tissue I had due to horrible UTI I had as a child. I've always been able to alleviate the pain and symptoms using medication and/ or hydration. Now I'm not: my pain and discomfort has barely been touched by either medication or other urinary therapies. Very miserable and frustrated! Help! Any insights appreciated. Thanks. 35 weeks, btw.

I agree.  I'm a nurse and I don't have an answer for you.  Sounds like a lot more testing is warranted.

Ask your dr. I wish I had more answers,  but on this,  since it is severe pain and it's keeping you up, trust a professional
