Heather keeps feeling better and is going to 34 weeks!
Helen - thank you so much for the updates on Heather. I've got tears in my eyes after reading your update(s). Please let her know again how much we're all thinking of her & the babies. I'm so choked up right now that all I can say it how much I and others here on the forum who know and love Heather will be praying their socks off for her and the babies - jen
So glad those babies are staying put still! And ever so glad she is doing better! I would not wish preeclampsia on ANYONE! Please tell her that we are all still thinking of her and her little ones and we will keep them all in our prayers forever!! Big hugs going her way!
Thanks again Helen for the updates!
Thanks for the updates Helen. I am glad she is doing a bit better, and that the twins are still staying put. That is such a relief. I will continue praying for her and little Henry and Cadence. I just know in my heart all is going to turn out well.
Another update on Heather Jo:
she is still in a hospital but doing better. Her pain meds (demerol??) is keeping the pain under control. The swelling (i.e. pre eclapsia) is also down. Her blood pressure is all over the place but it's not as high as before. Also, Heather's contractions are not as bad as they were. Heather will be 33 weeks this Wednesday and hopes to go another week to 34 weeks since babies are doing really well and growing and she is doing so much better than her first week.
I told her that everyone is sending good wishes and prayers her way and she was REALLY touched.
Oh gosh, I will certainly keep her and her twins in my thoughts and prayers!! Thanks Helen!
I am so glad to hear things have improved a bit, and I hope they continue to do so. Thanks so much for keeping us informed Helen.
I just talked to Heather again. She is still battling pre eclampsia but her blood work improved somewhat and she is getting some shots for her pain which helps. Her babies gained a pound each since she entered the hospital which is a good news. They are taking it day by day and basically waiting for the downturn when they will HAVE to deliver the twins. Each day that she is able to keep her twins inside saves 3 days in the NICU so she is doing everything she can to go as long as possible.
Heather was sooooo touched by everyone's good wishes!
Thanks so much for the update, Helen. Amanda's right - Heather's an amazing lady - will be praying triple-time!! Pass on all of our prayers to her - jen
Thanks for the update Helen. Could you please let her know that her and the babies are in my thoughts and that I am praying hard all is well with all of them. She is such an amazing lady.
I talked to HeathJo two days ago and she was still in the hospital struggling to keep her babies inside every day. Her kidneys basically gave up and there is lots of protein in her urine and her liver is getting worth. I think she will be delivering this week (HeathJo is 32 weeks right now).
Please keep Heather and her twins in your prayers.
