BFN and time to re-evaluate

Hi Ladies, looks like AF will be pulling into town to ruin my holiday weekend :) I am so mad that I just chucked 4 eggs down the toilet in one month of trying. It's time to think about what to do next. I know if I call my Dr. he'll ask me to come in on day 2 or day 3 to get meds. Which my luck will will fall smack dab in the middle of the week and I won't be able to make the trip from NY to PA. Deep down I feel like letting go of being under his care is admitting failure. And I am also concerned that a new Dr. will want to start from scratch will all new blood, scans, genetic work-up etc. Anyone have any experience switching docs? I usually get preg the second cycle after a MC which would be this one. So give it one more shot with PA doc? Maybe try one month on my own? Or only Clomid and no injectables that require so many appts? What do you think ladies? Thanks so much.

I'm sorry about AF's visit.  That is too bad.   For insurance purposes I did have to switch infertility doctors.   It was a bit of pain, but no the doc didn't have to start from scrach with regard to testing and what not, but of course I had to wait on my cycle to do things.  Make sure you get copies of all your medical records and try to schedule an appt close to when you expect your cycle.  Make sure you hand deliver your records to your new doc prior to first visit and make sure you make a copy for yourself and then when you go for your first visit make sure you have that in hand.   Also know what's been done and what's not been done.

I'd give it one more shot with current doc, that way you don't have to wait too long...and in the meantime get ready to switch docs so you don't have to wait too long between cycles.   Esp if you've been lucky with 2nd IUI after m/c.
