I thought mine went well and I was nervous about the epidural but really not bad. I massaged my incision (once healed) to break up the scar tissue. My nurse told me that at my 2 wk check up. Can't even see my scar and I felt pretty good at 2 wks.

Do they stitch up the incision now? I know way back when they'd use staples.
They used this special tape on my friend no staples or stitches she said it wasn't bad she just couldn't walk with her back straight up and it was a struggle for her to get around
That would be awesome if they do that
Wow! I don't even remember and it was less than 2 yes ago! So see must not have been too bad.
I know mine broke open a little but it was fine. Hard getting in and out of bed. But after 9mo of being preg what's another 2 weeks!
I guess once the babys here the last thing on your mind is stitches or staples haha. Im just nervous of the unknown....
The epidural was the easy part!
I had the epidural when I was in labor and he went in a little too far so I got a spinal headache (which he said only happens to 2%! Lucky me! If you do get a spinal headache it feels better to laydown and have some cafine. But like I said 2%!
I'm nervous if I have to have another csection because I ended up having to be completely under! So I'm nervous what it will be like to be awake while its going on!
I had an emergency c section in September 2013 and having another in august the advice I was given is get up and moving as soon as possible even if it hurts as it speeds up recovery I was up that night walking I was sore until my staples came out a week later then my husband spent the next 5 weeks reminding me I wasn't allowed to be doing things. Good luck
