am I in labor?

Around 9:30-10:00 this morning I started getting very shaky and icky feeling. I decided to go lay back down and when I woke up I started having very uncomfterble back pain that turns into a cramp around my pelvis. As the day progressed it started to turn into side cramps and tightening in my tummy. It still hasnt let up and im increasingly getting more uncomfterble as time goes by. I have already gone too the l&d multiple times and do not want to go back unless im for sure going to deliver. I am 37 weeks and 7 days.

I have the same issues. It's just her getting in place n ur body adjusting. I went in two times for the same thing. I'd stay home n wait for as long as u can. I'm stuck at one cnm dialated n they r gonna induce me Friday. Just stay calm BREATHE and relax when ur water breaks go in . Unless u want to be induced u can request that with ur doc but only if ur overdue will they let u get induced. I'm at 41 weeks n one cntm dialated. I get horrible back n vaginal pain as well as cramping in my pelvic area. Sometimes I can feel my hips stretching too. So much so that I can't walk Cus the pain in my groin n hips are so sharp n painful. Just be patient lol the baby is preparing u and itself for delivery

If you are 4cm but aren't progressing they may medically induce you and keep you there, but I'm 3cm and 37 weeks and they said my cramping is just thinning me out at this point and unless I can't talk through the contractions (not because its uncomfortable and tight, but because I'm in pain) stay home for as long as possible!

I was checked friday and I was at about 2 1/2 cm. I am not sure how much u need to be dilated at for them to keep u.
