Pregnant or not

I am 38 and have been with my husband for 16 years. We have never been pregnant and we have tried for many years. As of Monday my period was six days late and my breast were extremely sore and I was craving hot sauce like no bodies business. I took a pregnancy test and it was positive. I couldn't believe it so I took another one and it was positive as well. After being in shock all day I started cramping on my way home work by the time I got home I had already started spotting. I decided to go to urgent care where they decided to do another test and it came back negative. They than decided to do a blood test to be sure. On Tuesday morning they called and told me that they were sure. That just sounded crazy to me how can the doctor not know if I was pregnant or not. They told me the hormone hcg was present in blood stream but it was only a small amount and to come back in on Friday and repeat the test. Today is Wednesday and my breast still hurt I am still  spotting and cramping. I took another test and it says it is negative. I have no idea what is going on with my body. I think maybe I having a natural  miscarriage but have no idea. Has anyone ever experienced this or heard a similar story.

I have had a few of these myself.  I am so sorry.  But yes, great news you can conceive, and you still have plenty of time to keep trying!!  Good luck to you.

I had never heard of a chemical pregnancy. After looking it up it fits everything I am feeling  and experiencing. I had given up on trying to get pregnant I guess at least now I know it can happen. Thanks for your help.

Sounds like a possible chemical pregnancy.
