asking for induction

Is it bad that I'm feeling miserable and impatient to meet my little one, I'm going to ask Monday if the doctor can induce me I'm 38 weeks and hurting all the time.

Also full term for one is now 41 weeks, and unless you have health issues, your doctor will tell you to wait. Just hang in there, you have only three weeks to go. I'm 35 weeks and I have a c-section for July 18th and I'm so scared I may go into labor early. My doctor thinks, I will have the babies next week, I hope not. Lol

It's not bad, but doctors will not induce you unless you have major health problems, such as if you are diabetics, have high blood pressure, or having twins. I'm having twins, and my doctors refused to induce me before 36 weeks. Twins are considered full term at 37. So I know you are uncomfortable, but please don't try to induce labor with castor oil, I've heard many bad things about it and your baby life is so important.
