Im pregnant with my second and ive never attended any birthing classes. Personally its not something id feel comfortable doing.
Let them judge all they want. When family ask us if we are taking a class, we just say nope, women didn't need a class back in the day and they got through it
Thank you everyone. I figured all of this but I feel so judged by family and other people that I wanted to make sure I wasn't the only one.
Your money is better spent on prenatal yoga that will help you with strength and flexibility and breathing techniques.
I didn't take any for any of my pregnancies and I was fine.
I went last pregnancy and wish I'd saved my money. All ready had read everything they discussed in the one pregnancy book I bought. You can find the information for free elsewhere.
My whole philosophy was that I didn't want to know ANYTHING! I'm pregnant w #2 now and I'm more nervous because I know what's coming. I liked being dumb about it, just did what the drs and nurses said!
I watch a video online. I wad going for an epidural so I wasn't too worried. Turned out great. You can't plan for anything so as long as your going to just go with whatever happens gig should be OK. If nervous or have anxiety I'd take one.
I am 36 weeks and never took one. I believe there is an online class on babycenter.com
I haven't taken any classes either and im 40+1wks xx
