Question

I have a bad cold and went to the urgent care and the doctor prescribed me rob tussin with codeine is that safe? I am 36 weeks

Yea i am just gonna stick with Tylenol and benadryl

Robitussin is, codeine is not. That's very very strange they prescribed you that. You can take regular otc robitussin pm- the codeine is really just there to knock you out so you rest.

I personally wouldn't think that its ok to have codine at this point in time. But the sudafed is working wonders for me! I take that along with tylenol and I've been feeling MUCH better! Maybe try that out first!

I also have a cold and im 37wks 5days and my obgyn said the ONLY thing safe to have right now is sudafed PLAIN sudafed cough drops. Tylenol. And Mucinex.
