My regimen consists of Raisen Bran (it has significantly more fiber than any other cereal including raisen bran crunch), prunes, Mirilax daily, Colace twice daily, & lots of water. The Colace works more effectively if you drink lots of water.
I grew up in Eastern Europe so I get my advice from mom who had 4 kiddos and she told me nothing will work better then leaks ,find a market that has them and eat at least twice a day some with cheese or whole wheat crakers whit cream cheese ,I used it in salads all my salads had leaks; ))) and I had no constipation at all afterwards .
6-8 oz of warm prune juice. I use organic prune juice and after I warm it I add a few oz of seltzer water. I usually go within 2-3 hours. It works very well. Be sure to be home!
Lots of lots of Water ... I did that and an apple every morning I ate lots of salads too it works ..
Kale works really well. I have a daily home made smoothy with strawberries, banana, apple, plain yogurt and kale. It makes me go about 3 times a day.
Coffee and Greek yogurt for breakfast.
l take Miralax every other day, and eat 3 Activia yogurts everyday. lt helps me,
Prune Juice at ROOM TEMP.... Good luck :)
I drink 32oz of water while I'm at work and raisin brand for breakfast. I only experience constipation on the weekends.
Thank you for all suggestions. Right now I'm trying to heal from abdominal surgery, and my constipation is worse. I'm going to try some of these things that I haven't tried to see if I can get things moving.
I'm 15+1 weeks and also have constipation. Definitely going to try some of these suggestions. Raisin Bran actually sounds good.
Phillips milk of magnesia...and if you're like me and hate that disgusting taste or texture of it, they have it in pill form. Sometimes raisin brand and water are not enough. Also it is stimulate free! No cramping. So...Phillips mag in pill form+ increased water intake,= happy poop without discomfort and straining. ;)
I've suffered with this my entire pregnancy. Severely. And yes, it can make you nauseous. It also gives me a bad headache that is only relieved when I can finally go the bathroom. I've tried tons of different remedies and found that warm pure apple juice does the trick! Stay very well hydrated and eat foods high in dietary fiber too. Prunes :)
I would say figs and pears on regular basis will do the trick...you will be surprised by the results xxx
Gummy fiber supplements with every meal (more than the recommended amount) has been a lifesaver for me.
Try a stool softener or a glycerin supposatory.
Flax seed oil! Capsules work too if you don't like the taste. 2 a day and I'm good to go lol.
You should try prune.
Put 5 or 6 prunes in a cup of hot water at nigth and leave it until tomorrow morning, then eat the prunes and drink the water before your breakfast.I'm sure it will help
Eat fruits and vegtebles it really helps and make a cup of hot tea any tea it will help u I usaly drink green tea or any tea herb
Thanks I'll try raisin bran. I already drink tons of water and eat fruits and veggies. Nothing seems to help.
Raison Bran helps me a lot. Plus lots of water, fruits, veggies, exercise & more water.
