contractions? real or nothing at all? Help please!!

So about every 10 min or so maybe longer my stomach hardens like a rock for about 15ish seconds and it's not a hurting pain it's more uncomfortable. I'm 39+2 weeks. Is it happening or.....

My contractions felt like bad gas pains, so I didn't know I was in labor until it hit about 4 minutes apart.

I was in labor for 24 hours and I wasnt in pain from the contractions until the last 5 hours but I was having them the whole time. I would time how long you feel the hardening and the intervals in between. Good luck
