Hi, I had no cravings when I was pregnant with my daughter. This time I am 12 weeks pregnant, I have no cravings but I have to eat plain white rice or else I throw up. BTW, Last time I could eat only bland foods no sweets, this time I prefer spicy Indian food, no Mexican.
hey i crave the same thing i had to have resess cup 2 but i also craved alot of hot peppers , i already have an 18 daughter and i was all stomach and now im 15 weeks and i look like im 6 or 7 mnths already just with stomach so i don't no what im having [lol] i just no i don't want no boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I definitely think its interesting on what people crave, seems like boys is flavorful and rich meaty foods and then with girls it is sweet and light. Love the posts and reading all of this :D
With my two boys I crave and craved fruits and spicy foods. With my daughter it was all sugar products from candy to ice cream. I have to say I don't carry any different from when I have a boy or a girl the belly and the weight seem to fall in the same places.
With my first I had to have a milky way chocolate bar EVERY DAY with out fail after I'd stopped throwing up at 3 months that is...I had a girl.
With my 2nd pregnancy, I loved pasta but my big crave was pickled onions and cheese! I had a boy
With my 3rd pregnancy (which I'd been told by a palm reader would be a girl some months before so was certain I was having a girl) I craved.....pickled onions and cheese again and had a BOY! ha he was wrong in his prediction.
So for me sweet = girl, savoury = boy.
I shall be more aware what I crave for my next and final pregnancy to see if it tells me what i'm having as we never found out the sex beforehand and don't intend to next time :D
When I was pregnant I gained NO weight, cept my belly and only wanted tomatoes and pasta. I had a girl.
Oh...as to weight. I gained all over with both...but I didn't show with my daughter. Just days before I gave birth (and she was overdue) I was still getting "You're PREGNANT?!?" ::sigh:: People who knew me could tell, but to everyone else I just looked like I was filling out (I was very underweight when I got pregnant).
With my son, my belly got HUGE right away. At 3 months I was showing more with my son than I had with my daughter on the day I had her! By 8 months with my son I looked like a WHALE!
Oddly enough, I weighed about the same the day I gave birth with both...
I craved the same thing (a combination burrito with extra cheese and guacamole from Baker's, a fast food restaurant in Southern California) with my first two pregnancies and had a girl the first time and a boy the second (drive my husband nuts with my son...we lived next door to a 24 hour Baker's Drive-Thru LOL...can't tell you how many times I HAD to have a burrito at 2 or 3am)
This time around, my cravings have varied. Lately, I want a baked potato with cheese and bacon bits. I have had food aversions with foods I normally like. For example, I have eaten brown rice exclusively for over a year...and now even the THOUGHT of eating brown rice (even as just part of a dish) makes me kinda nauseous...but I sometimes crave white rice...weird huh?
I think the cravings thing is a wives tale...but it is an interesting and fun question to think about :)
I craved Dr. Pepper. Does that mean my son is going to be a doctor? :)
Well with all my pregnancies I craved the same things hot sauce hashbrowns bacon and eggs. I also gained weight all over and I have two boys and one girl.
Well I have gained all over and have craved red meat and chocolate (not together...lol!!) and I am having a boy! I craved sweets on the beginning, always had to have candy and reeses peanut butter cups!!
