membrane sweep??

Hi ladies, just wondering could some one please explain to me what a membrane sweep is? I'm due to have one next week...so sick of being pregnant now!! Just getting really really bored of it, just want my little one n my arms and not kicking my ribs anymore!! Anyone else due the end of march?? :)

March 24th. I feel your pain. All this time it seemed that my baby was gonna come early. But now hes taking his sweet time getting here... these are gonna be the longest 10 days of my life... lol

my doc did sweep membrane in my second pregnancy it was uncomfortable but 6 hours later I went in labor :)

I had it done yesterday. I thought it would hurt and be aweful but it wasn't bad it took 3 seconds and it was over with. No pain. She just took her finger and wiggled it up there and that was it. Lol

Hi a sweep is where there seperate the sack from the uterus my baby boy was born 2/2/14 I had 5 sweeps over a 2 week period and all I got was cramps works for some so please keep that in mind my boy was a week over due and as much as I hated his foot in my rib enjoy ur rest now as u wont have any soon all the best and safe labouring
