Dissolvable Sutures or Staples?? HELP!

I am scheduled for a c section this friday and had a c section 7years ago with my firstborn. my incision was closed with staples... they were taken out about a week after my surgery and about a week later my incision busted open... the staples were painful, everytime I moved I felt the staples but once they were removed it was easier for me to move around I dont want to risk my incision opening again as it did prolong my recovery time.. im hopeful that the dissolvable sutures wont be nearly as uncomfortable and that I will heal better and quicker... Although my doctor says she usually does staples but she can do sutures if I want... im just worried about the healing process I dont want it to be as terrible as it was before and I figure I should try it this way.. plus my first c section scar looked like a worm which I blame on the staples... any of you habe any recommendations?  Which is better sutures ot staples???

I have had 3 csections all 3 were sutured with dermabond. With the first, my incision did open a bit on one end but not a big deal. (Plus, I probably overworked myself as we had to move due to a fire.) Personally, with the soreness of having an incision already, I would not want the trouble and pinch of staples. Everyone is different,  but I say try the sutures, it's the only way you'll knowwhat works better for you.

When I had my c-section I had the disposable sutures and my sister had her c-section 2weeks after me and she had staples.I had no problems with healing and she did and she said it was a little painful to get them taking out and in some spots her incision opened also so I think the disposable sutures are better

I had glue. It was something that they were trying.  They had glue and a holder pinching my skin for 24 after de c section.  They took them out and put tape and I was good to go. Look it up.
