I'm on,my fourth and will be nervous at that time....it's natural....good luck n congrats
It's different for everyone, but what I try to do is to come up with a birth plan. I research different options. I talk with my husband about what I hope the experience will be like and what I want for interventions. I also tell him to be prepared that what I want may fly out of the window, lol. Find out what that place that you are giving birth offers for pain management. There are usually a lot of options- relaxation techniques like soft music, dim lighting, calm environment, warm bath, deep breathing, massage, sitting on the yoga ball. All are great techniques that work for many women. You may get to the point where you want medication, which they can offer, some to help you reduce the pain and help you get some rest, a few hospitals offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas), and of course epidurals. There's lots of info on all of it and you just have to make the right choice for you- there si no right or wrong way. It's your experience. You can do it mama! Good luck:)
