implantation bleeding?

I started experiencing brown spotting around 4 dpo. It was very light and grew a little heavier through 6 dpo. Now at 7 dpo it seems to be tappering off. I know that implantation bleeding is more common 6-10 days dpo but some say you could have it as early as 3 dpo. I am wondering if anyone experienced it at 4 dpo and found out they were pregnant that month or if they experienced it that early and then ended up not being pregnant that month. I normally only spot like that right when my af is coming so this is unusual for me. Of course I want to see it as a good sign but don't want to get my hopes up too much. I guess I am just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and how it turned out for them.

No, I am not pregnant. It was just annoying mid-cycle spotting. It was never very heavy. It was really light.

So are you pregnant? I am having another period only 8 days after my last one ended and I am wondering if I am pregnant or this is implantation spotting? It looks like a normal period though but I have never had it come in only 8 days.

Thanks for answering me. That wasn't negative, it is actually what I figured but was hoping that it could be implantation spotting. When you do google searches you get such conflicing information, which is really not helpful. I won't be taking an HPT for another week if af does not come, so I'll be keeping my fingers crossed until then.

Sorry to be a bit of a negative, but you can't put too much emphasis on things like that.  Implantation bleeding is actually not all that common, and it usually very light.  It certainly could be, but obviously there is no way for anyone to know.  To have mid cycle bleeding or spotting is not all that uncommon, and can be for a variety of reasons.  Good luck with that HPT...I hope its positive for you!!!
