Day 74 and neg hpts!!

Ok so i went to the docts last night, even though iv already failed preg tests they did another which surprise surprise was negative, i told them i have had this already so thats why im here as i have read & been told that even though hpts are negative it is still poss to be pregnant, they said t wait until i hav missed 6 periods and then return. Its driving me mad as im no better off, i just feel i am pregnant as i am never late, i am now on day 74 of what was supposed to be a 32 day cycle! My stomach is feeling harder and i am always tired!! Please can anyone suggest what i do next, is there a way i can get a scan done or blood test as i worry im that small percentage that is pregnant but hpts read negative. any advise would be appreciated.

Thankyou Helen, sorry if this seems silly but what is an RE?  How do i contact one of them?
I already went for a blood test and got turned away when i was there as apparantly Blood tests cant help identfy anymore than a urine sample.
Im getting really fed up with calling the docors now and getting turned away or being made to feel a nuisance! Obviously me having regular periods all my life makes no difference to the fact i have now nearly missed 3!! ? :-(

Get a second opinion from an RE.  They can help you to re-start your cycle and check why you are on day 74.  If you did not ovulate you may need some fertility help.  Also, a simple blood test should reveal with 100% certainty if you are pregnant.
