Looks like I'll be doing Femara

Somehow, AF arrived!  I'm happy and annoyed at the same time.  how did I miss my O??  I had tons of EWCM last week and I was testing like a mad woman.  So it must have happened the week prior to that?  There were just no signs and I figured it wasn't going to happen anyways.  Oh well...now we get to start.

I just called my RE's office and was supposed to go in on Monday.  I was thinking we would do injectibles right off the bat, but we are out of town on vacation right about when all the monitoring would be done.  She said they could try and squeeze it all in, but I don't want to risk the $$ and have it be for nothing.

My husband and my CB Fertility Monitor are coming with me on vacation...so I'm hoping!!!

Exactly what my RE said.  We really didn't have much choice this month since we'll be out of town and I didn't want to risk the timing being off with the injectibles.  We will most likely do injectibles next month.

I've been on Clomid several times and have become pg three times on it - one daughter.  Never had any issues with it, so hopefully Femara will just be that much better!

best of luck to you too and I'll report back!

I was on Femara... stopped after only two cycles since RE thinks we need to be more aggressive. The good thing about Femara is no side effects, other than the normal ovarian pain. As far as cost, my insurance actually covered it , with a $50 co-pay, as it is used for other purposes, but my insurance won't cover anything else. SSBD.
