menstrual type cramps

I woke up to menstrual like cramps today. Today is my due date!!! I'm wondering if this could be pre labor or maybe just braxton hicks? Have any of you experienced this before and did you go into labor??

That was what early contractions felt like a couple days before. Prelabor they kept me awake and I felt them in my back too.

Feeling the same im having intense and I mean excruciating cramps.  So bad I was afraid to get up from my nap. So I jus laid there until it stopped

Im 38 + 3 days and I get those cramps alot!! Unfortunately iits not actual contractions....its just ur body and baby getting ready....it can go on for a while

Contractions are hard to describe. But when they start you'll know! Try walking or bouncing on an exercise ball.

Sounds like early early labor. It can last a few days or even weeks.

Yea. I've been experiencing it off & on for 7 days & sadly I haven't gone into labor. I'm actually 2 days past my due date. While I was feeling the cramps, I walked, bounced on birthing ball, & did nipple stimulation, but nothing took it to the next level.
