milk still developing out of breasts

hello i am developing milk in my breasts still after my last pregnacy was 11yrs ago, doctor said this will go away eventually  , not very happy with docs advise thought he would have given me some meds to get rid of the prob, can anybody share with me if they have had the same problems. thanks

I lactated for about 5 years after my 3rd baby and I never breastfed him. My Dr. said it's nothing to worry about, it happens sometimes. Hormones I guess.

My guess is your prolactin levels are too high. This can cause milk to keep developing.  They can give you meds to reduce this level.  I had high prolactin levels in the past and leakage from breasts was what indicated the tests for this.  Meds stopped it.
