Hi!  I agree with Kellym...unless of course they are dry from breast feeding, if so, vaseline or Lansinoh has an excellent cream for dry/sore nipples.

I don't think it really means anything other than dry nipples. Maybe a bit of vaseline or nipple cream for breast feeding will help. You certainly don't want them to crack and bleed.
